Driving-Tests.org is a part of Elegant E-Learning, Inc., a seven-year old company with a proven track record of revolutionizing and providing free online resources for English teachers and instructors. With our parent company’s site BusyTeacher.org, now in its ninth year of operations as a trusted web presence for teachers worldwide, we aimed to fill a gap in the educational marketplace. Driving-Tests.org is part of a plan to do the same for driver safety by making free permit practice tests written by experts available to anyone who wants to study, along with online copies of official state or province study guides.

The Office of Library and Information Services (OLIS) is Rhode Island’s state library agency. OLIS provides support and services to libraries of all types, coordinating library services statewide to ensure that all Rhode Islanders have free access to superior library services that meet their needs for education, work, and personal growth and fulfillment.  The agency facilitates resource sharing and interlibrary cooperation through the Library of Rhode Island (LORI), a multi-type network of over 200 libraries. OLIS provides direct library service to the blind and physically handicapped through Talking Books Plus, and participates in planning and providing access to government information online for state agencies and the public. OLIS also administers state aid to libraries; in 2016 the agency awarded grants-in-aid that included $7.7 million to Rhode Island’s cities and towns for library services, $2.7 million in public library construction reimbursement of 18 projects in 16 municipalities, and $1 million for the Statewide Reference Resource Center at Providence Public Library (AskRI.org).

Collection development made easy! Junior Library Guild is a book review and collection development service helping thousands of school and public libraries acquire the best new children’s and young adult books, saving them both time and money. JLG selects books with the same care and attention you use when building your collection. Our editors know the children's and young-adult literature landscape like no one else. And this credibility gives us a unique advantage, which benefits our members every month. The JLG editorial team reads the best books of the year well before they’re published. Publishers large and small value the prestige that comes with having their books named JLG Selections. They allow us to read and review more than 3,000 of their most anticipated books in manuscript or in preproduction stages. After narrowing that group to the very best 828 titles, we place our orders well in advance of publication dates (all JLG books are first editions) to provide you with new-release titles soon after they are first released. This is how JLG membership allows you to get tomorrow’s award winners today.
